“Bali Hospitality Movement” move to help hospitality workers

Bali Hospitality Movement it is an activity organized by several associations and persons in the world of Hospitality in Bali, especially in the field of Food and Beverage. This activity aims to raise funds which will be channeled to the world Hospitality person affected by Covid – 19, the first activity of the distribution of nine-basic necessities was held on June 1 2020 and the second activity on 6 june 2020, targeting workers in the field of food and beverage. The distribution of nine-basic necessities will be carried out in stages, with each stage being distributed 150 kilograms of rice, 900 eggs, 15 boxes of instant noodles, 30 liters of cooking oil and handsanitizer.

This activity will be carried out periodically as long as Covid 19 lasts until the situation returns to normal. “We really hope that the care of our brand product colleagues, distributors, or donors who are enticed to participate in supporting our activities, to help our colleagues who are in difficult situations, hopefully this activity can be a triger for similar activities to help colleagues we, “said Made Bagia Arsana, one of the originators of this activity.

This activity will target around 500-1000 people who are affected by the impact, and divided into several volumes, to support this activity also made several activities such as live streaming Dj, live streaming coocing, mixology, and online produck auctions to raise funds.

Some of the associations supporting this activity include IFBMA, LMC, HBI, Raise Movement, Club Concious, and ICA. “We strongly support positive activities like this in the midst of the epidemic, because we have to strengthen each other to get up together until this epidemic passes” said Putu Sudarmayasa, chairman of IFBMA

This activity was made possible because of the support of several donors and sponsors including William Grant & Son, SAN BALI, PAN BALI, Multi Bintang Indonesia, Yeo’s, Diageo, BBC, The Bar Times, Redbull, Suicide Glam and people in the hospitality environment.
